took my mom out for lunch and shopping last week for her birthday....she loves kitchen stores and as we were looking i metioned i had been thinking about getting an egg slicer, did she have one and use it?

ReplyDeleteI have used an egg slicer all of my married life (48 years). Makes for pretty slices all nice and even. I see that Gayle commented that she uses hers for mushrooms. Never thought of that.

ReplyDeleteEgg slicers are true fun. My excitment with an egg slicer is slicing the egg once, then carefully pick up the egg as if whole, turn it the other way and slice it one more time...tee dah, egg crumbles for egg salad...my all time favorite sandwich.
