when a sewing day gives you leftover applique pieces, make a new quilt......
and i did...... my mom loves flowers and she loves quilts from me even more, a sweet mother's day gift in the making.....

blocks are 6&1/2" squares.....
border flying geese were made with light 5&1/4" squares, cut diagonally twice and 2&7/8" print squares, cut once diagonally....


do you need a gift for your mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, etc......
i've given you the flower pattern pieces in the post below to print off.....
i may add more borders or may not, going to start stitching down flowers tonight.....
