On my ironing board.....

just started the layout for a new design to be named Every Season.....starting with spring....
will stitch this part down before adding more spring blooms.....

was mentioned to me the other day that I never posted pictures of my sewing after I finished painting and reararranging......alas it was so nice, clean, uncluttered, perfectly ararranged but now it's all a mess again!
my creative needs in piles all over again.....it's how I work best

A Common Thread......

got some time this weekend and today to finish up blocks five through twelve for the quilt A Common Thread..... halfway done, quilt will be a total of twenty-five blocks and an appliqued border......although not included in block instructions I started putting the sashing and corner stones together with the blocks I have done, I've chosen a homespun gold solid......





am working on instructions now so patterns for.....

should be available in a couple days.....

now on to the next batch of four.....

wrong way....right way

this is why I consider myself a primitive quilter.....sewing lots of pieces for Dresden Plates, all the wrong way, of course!



if at first you don't succeed try, try again and I got it right, still wonky and prim.....just the way I like it!

a little sewing time........

Lucy's mommy has gone back to work......so RaRo's sewing time is very little......basically not existent!
but today we cooperated......
playtime with Lucy.....
sewing time for RaRo.....
and of course more playtime for Lucy....

this is what I got done on my turn......




and Lucy busied herself with my scraps.....






mommy is working on options so Lucy is only with me three days but in the mean time......Cooperation!
