my first quilts made in the mid 70's for my sons .....notice the extra large pillows they are laying on, it's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.....

Surgery was yesterday, surgeon just visited, no second surgery necessary, all went well and my daughter will back in her own bed soon......
everyone is happy :)

Lucy's Mommy.....

Lucy's Mommy, my all grown up baby girl is in the hospital with Pancreatis, Jaundice and an escaped gallstone....waiting for surgery till Pancreas inflammation goes down, with no food or water till then Tough!
Lucy has been making Mommy treasures, bringing her balloons and visiting to cheer Mommy up!
Tough on Lucy and me also, trying not to over fret but that's difficult sometimes, thank goodness I have sweet Lucy with me everyday cheering RaRo up too!






Hoping for Mommy to be able to return home soon....

a little trip.....

my husband is in Hoboken, New Jersey for a couple weeks..... I joined him last weekend, we drove up to Sharon Springs, New York.....



the home of the Beekman 1802 Mercantile....



have been a fan of Josh Kilmer Purcell and Brent Ridge for a few years now, they have soaps, creams, cookbooks, olive oils, dishes, cake mixes, etc, etc.....
their goat farm is just down the road also, no tours available were available that day.....they have many fun and tasty products made from the goat's milk also......




Josh and Brent are on the road so much promoting their never ending lines of new fun products, I would have never expected to turn around and Brent was walking in the store! came right over said Hi and complimented me on my jacket and shoes, how very sweet, friendly and fun he was to talk too.....to say the least I was very excited!
my mom is also a fan of theirs and can hardly wait to rub elbows with me on Mother's Day.....
