just wanted to share.....

while pinning on Pintrest, if you haven't checked it out yet you NeeD too, i was inspired to make this little hexagon christmas tree from one i pinned by emilyellenlee....her's was contemperary in  look so i gave it my primitive style, used 1/2" hexagon paper, made it into a little quilt then stitched to a background fabric and framed it.....
so excited it's actually my first ever finished hexagon project....
to see the original click on my Pintrest button and look on the "fabric, thread & scissors" board.....

Very sweet little quilt Cheri - one of the best uses of hexies I've seen. And tempt me NOT into Pinterest....I've been there a few times - and know how addicting it could become. I do NOT need another addiction!! ;o) Happy Thursday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

You and I seem to be in the same mind set lately, lol.
I love your tree, that is a great idea. I have some penny tree patterns, but I like the idea of hexagons, better. I am working on a mini hexagon quilt, just a plain doll style.

That's a super cute idea to do with hexagons! I may have to try that.
