Halloween Quilt.....

a simple four patch in cheddar and black......





cheddar and black four patch....
cut ~ 1&1/4" squares.....

for larger four patch....
cut ~ 2" squares from light.....sew together with cheddar and black four patches....

alternate squares cut ~ 3&1/2" squares


~ cut 3&7/8" squares, cut once diagonally for setting triangles and corners....

side borders are cut ~ 2&1/2" wide.....
top and bottom borders are cut ~ 3&1/2" wide.....

I hand drew a pumpkin in one of the alternate squares, filling in in with cross stitches for fun.....

Cheri's back! I know it's only been a month since your last post, but we missed you! Hope you had a great summer. That IS a sweet little quilt and I love the idea of adding a bit of simple applique like my3Kitties suggested...

Thanks so much for posting the pattern for this darling " little". A great way to use leftovers Or make new " leftovers! We are getting our first dump of the " white stuff" and not enjoying it at all. Really, it's October 17 th for goodness sakes! Have yourself a wonderful weekend!
