knit along....

finished instuctions for four new fall quilt patterns yesterday, sending pictures to my website gal tonite should be posted in a few days so i decided last night to start knitting a cowl, someday the temperature will drop below 90' here....
making this up as i go, if you'd like to follow along i'm using size 13 needles and chunky yarn, plan on striping it and using different stitch patterns....
i cast on 37 stitches and am using the seed stitch for i'm not sure how many rows yet....
seed stitch is k1, p1 till last stitch k1....
next row p1, k1 till last stitch p1 continue repeating row 1 and 2....it's that easy....
enjoy your day cheri

Lovely colour. I'll be interested to see how your cowl turns out. Right now, I'm knitting a blanket to keep my legs warm in the winter. It's always drafty in our house in the evenings. A simple combination of knit and purl so should go quite quickly.
