now feeding the food....
my neighbor, who also has chickens, has gotten me started on raising meal worms to feed the chickens....all greg has to say is "now we're feeding the feed"....
all you need is bran, a few beetles, carrots, apples & paper, they do all the rest themselves....beetles lay eggs (caught a couple snuggling this morning, too cute!), eggs hatch into worms, then pupas and back into meal worms....
gave the girls a cup full this morning so ExCitEd! for this treat....
i do enjoy my little farm....
have a wonderful day....

what do you do....
when it's 100 degrees & no power....
sit in a lawn chair with your feet in the pool, stitch & hope the power comes back on before dark!
just a little life inconvience....

what am i going to do now....
this big crumpled pile on my couch is the just finished, well the top anyway, Folkart Gathering....taking pictures tomorrow and drawing up pattern....
won't be quilted yet still deciding between doing it myself (as i only use monofilament thread when quilting) or sending it out to be done (as it is large and i'll keep putting it on the back burner) which to choose?
did a happy dance, i am quite the dancer, when i stitched that last & final stitch....
now what to do, relax, stitch on other projects?
hubby will be home in just two days....oh my gosh!!!! still much to accomplish, stitch, stitch, stitch cheri
