got to experience my first sonogram, what an awesome treat and i saw wiggling & waving from my newest to be!!!

what to do next?

Dominic & Olivia's visit is almost over we're camping at the beach through the weekend then they leave with their daddy for the drive back to Missouri....what to do when my real life is back, it will feel lonely & quiet....
picked up this fun fabric at my sister's quilt shop for new grandbaby coming, daddy surfs, plays guitar and mommy is a modern day hippie earth mommie, so when i saw this "perfect"....so after a couple days of rest and major cleaning i'll get back into the quilting mode with a fun baby quilt....

july's quilt...

here's a little primitive quilt for a july sewing day....
for all half square triangles cut 2&3/8" squares, cut in half diagonally, from some lights and dark scraps....
all squares are cut 2"....
border is 1&1/2"wide....

needed to drop off patterns yesterday at Fat Quarters with Olivia & Dominic in tow...."grandma just needs to look real quick! then back to swimming, the park & crafts"  lucky for me Crossroads to Texas line just arrived, half yard of each & we were out the door....aren't they lucious, can hardly wait till i actually get to use them...

me, cooper & dominic in the pool staying cool....really i have planned on stitching the binding for the July primitive quilt sharing and giveaway but as of yet hasn't been accomplished...
have had five grandkids here with us since thursday, two went home today down to three and back down to two tonight so maybe i can stitch tonight....quilts are except for that part, honestly, planned on keeping up but summer fun has been taking presedence....
have done alot of pool activities, walks and laundry!!!
will try to have them posted by July's end!
p.s. to Robin/Cranky Crow tried to email you a couple of times need your address to mail out June's primitive quilt...

home sweet home.....

arrived home late last night starting to unload, put away, do laundry and answering still a multitude of questions already "what's for dinner?"
and I'm grateful and happy that I've been blessed with these grandkids of mine.....
may be exhausted at the end of the day but will treasure every moment...
