on the 12th day of Christmas i finished all twelve blocks, just in the nick of time as i see Temecula Quilt Co. has posted her vintage inspired finished small quilt, now i can put mine together also.....thanks Cheryl for a fun quilt project...
I really like how the quilt came out, but no time for anything new this week. Tonight I am going to hook the new pattern a friend sent. It has the wool cut, so I can relax and hook without thinking or cutting.
Thanks for sharing your blocks - it inspired me to get mine going. I have them all cut out and ready to stitch this afternoon, then put them together. Can't wait for the project you'll be sharing. (Hope there's some applique, too!)
It is so primitive and the fabrics are wonderful! Could a non-quilter make something like this? I do lots of needlework and smalls? Is this a kit? LOVE IT!!
I first saw this little quilt on Gayle's blog - and love it! It's so cool that each "day's" block has that many pieces in it....I love the colors you've used - can't wait to see how it all goes together....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
Yours is very cute! Are you making the two color border and sashing it too? I am ready to make this one in the coming week, just in time for my 55th Birthday.
