a simply sweet finish......

a simply sweet finish for your four patches......
alternate green squares are cut 3&1/2".....
for setting side triangles cut 5&1/2" squares, cut diagonally twice......
corners are 3" squares, cut diagonally once.....
border as you choose.....

had a few leftover four patch pieces, so i stitched together this homespun one......

and at Christmas time i received a sweet gift from a blog friend Merumo, she is very able, accomplished and clever in many handworks...... i am a very neglectful blog friend, just getting around to sending her a proper thank you...... this little primitive quilt is her thanks for the sweet sewing pouch and clips she made for me and will be on it's way to you soon....... you can visit her blog at http://pleasentreeus.blogspot.com

simply enjoy finishing up your sweet little primitive quilt......

I am in over my head with quilt classes this weekend, but I will be finishing up my sweet little quilt next week. I love it. Can't wait to choose a color for the squares and triangles.
Thanks for the little SALs, Cheri.

Another inspiration! Love the design and so easy to make. Can't wait to try one - soon! I really like to sweet complimentary quilt you made using leftovers and homespun, and the mini "thank you" quilt is adorable. Cheri - you are something special!

Thank you, Cheri! Such a sweet little quilt. I just have to decide which of the three options I want for borders, and I'm done. Either that, or I have to make another center to use the second choice borders on; having trouble deciding because I like them all!

Thanks for sharing your Walmart secret, too; the perfect fabric may be lurking anywhere!

It's so cute - knew it would be! What a fun runner, and a thank-you quilt is a great idea. Love all of these, and your little gift.
