humming along......

the sound of my sewing machine humming along was very evident this weekend, spent so many hours there had to oil, clean and change needles.....
finished tops, quilted them and now ready for binding, new patterns in the works....

finished my envelope blocks now ready to sew rows together...... loving the red!

this is a quilt that we are doing in my thursday quilt class, pretty simple block......
for each block cut one 4&1/8" squares dark and light, cut diagonally twice..... from dark cut one and from light cut two 3&3/4" squares, cut diagonally once......

sew block together as shown above.....
you will have small triangles left over, i'm sewing mine together into half square triangles for a primitive little quilt......

enjoy cheri
