penny quilt new idea i'm working on, of course needs borders and such...i'm making so many designs right now, getting ready for my sister's quilt camp and need to have new patterns in a week ahhhh!!!
i get so wound up creatively, work well under pressure but sometimes not sure if i'm headed in the right direction...
let me know if i'm sewing down the right path or not....

Can't go wrong with a wool project!

I agree with Shakerwood, that you can't go wrong with a wool project. After collecting wool for the past few years, I've finally started a small project and will progress to something more involved after I find out what I'm doing! Just wish I could go to your sister's quilt camp and get some one-on-one tips from you. Keep designing!

I think you are going down the right path for sure.

I have seen trees done with pennies, but plain.
You have taken it a step further and made it into a piece that can work as a fun prim hanging.

This is adorable. I have made a tree shaped wool applique piece in the past where each penny symbolized a month. I so love what you are putting together.....keep going!!!!
