the whole alphabet quilt.....letter Z diagram will post tomorrow, the post down below was a test post finally found a blog app that allows me to add multiple pictures.....one of these days, MaYBe! i will sit down and learn the ins and outs of downloading pictures to computer, putting into folder, finding that folder and putting them in a post.....that exhausts my brain just saying it.......
here is the whole quilt, i will post letter Z tomorrow and the extra blocks next week.....i did, of course, four different blocks and scattered them through the quilt, the original antique quilt that inspired me has the same pieced block in all four corners.....it all always works it's just what talks to you......i also, if you noticed, i moved the P next to the C my initials, another fun option......i have know doubt there will be amazingly personally creative alphabet quilts out there......
cutting for the sashing.....my sashing strips between blocks were cut 2" x 7&1/2" and the sashing strips between rows were 2" wide, except for two, as i knew i was running close to the end of the green, so i cut a couple 1& 3/4" wide....... and the border strips are 2" wide also.....
see you tomorrow.......

I love this quilt! even for me I think it is fabulous. I have been following your progress, you are a sensation in my eyes
Thanks for a wonderful quilt
It's great! And I like the way you have been percivering week after week making blocks, keeping at it, and now it's done. I really like the layout of the blocks, with the extra fillers here and there! great job! cheers, Claire W.
Cheri - I posted a picture of my completed blocks yesterday - it looks so different than yours - it's been such a fun project - now I'm thinking about a border.
Love it! Are you keeping it or giving it to Lucy?
I love the random blocks--great touch!

My top is complete!
My extra blocks are depicting my siblings and myself, with scraps of fabric our mother used in her sewing for us.
THANK YOU for this delightful diversion over the summer months.
I love it. However, I do have a question--where is 'P'?
Love it!
Are you going to sell it in pattern form?
