a little patchwork....

a little patchwork....
day four (well really it's the evening of day three but on day four i'll be at the hospital with my daughter, she's being induced, so i'll be there anxiously awaiting Lucy Rose's arrival)....
four patch is made with 1&1/2" squares, add a piece 1&1/2" wide to top and bottom...next 1&1/4" wide pieces of yellow to left and right side and a 1&1/2" wide piece yellow to lower edge....now scrap a piece 1&1/2" wide and sew to right side, then 1&1/2" wide yellow to top....lastly 1&1/4" wide blue to left side....
now remember this is a primitive little quilt, so if your pieces end up in a different order, that's totally alright.....blocks all should be around 5&1/2" unfinished....
tomorrow we will put all the blocks together and it's truly a fun antique inspired little quilt....
till friday, enjoy....
