As I am working on the last block for the alphabet quilt , I looked back at the photo of the whole quilt and thought , "the bird, I didn't get the bird". So, is this a "I get to add on," or is the bird coming?
I have to tell you this is a labour intensive quilt for me as I have pieced it by hand and have had to rip out and re do X and Q. I have also done it in acid greens, purples and turqoises with a bit of coral/copper. It has been a great help as I am my husbamd's care giver and he is more alert and focused if I am there chatting every once in a while. Thanks for your great projects. I usually do them as this is the year I have a need to prove something can come of nothing and stitch by stitch things get finished. This year finished seems very important. Thanks again. Ethel Snow

I like how the corners on the star blocks lead your eyes throughout the quilt. Good design.

How pretty! And I love the name. A lovely name just adds a new dimension to a quilt, doesn't it?
