patchwork.....

this is how my patchwork pieces ended up at the end of the day, notice how uneven my borders are, just sew whatever together then will clean up my edges when finished....don't like to box myself into having to stay within certain measurements, like a little growing room.....received The Help from Netflix will watch it tonight while stitching the wool appliques down.....
enjoy your saturday night whether quiet or noisy.....

Love the appliqué on your patchwork, that is my favorite, to make a mini scrap quilt and add a few appliqués to it.

I love how it looks too bad we can not figure out how to bind it like that :)

Wonderful new designs you've created, Cheri! It must be so hard for you to create a pattern afterwards that have exact measurements when your designs are so creative and not within "the box!" You are showing us all how to have fun in creating!

looking forward to the pattern. Love the look even now.

I read The Help when it first came out. The movie is excellent (I gave it 5 stars) but the book has many more stories. Since the movie is over two hours long, I guess they had to edit somewhere.

I love your little patchwork. The strips and squares with the applique all look good together.

Love the pieces. Glad to see you back sewing, but a new grand baby is irresistible!
